FINAL - Episode 4

July 01 2008, Tuesday



Firstly, as tis blog entry begins, I am goin to put my dream car’s picture… The Mercedes Benz SLR 772…. Ok, the beauty behind tis car is tat the design, and the whole feelin… N moreover, u will be able to see tis car in the new batman movie… Woo hoo…. Bruce Wynne is drivin tis car…. Wats better is tat, Jay Zhou has been drivin tis car… OMG…..



Ok, comin back to yst…. I spent the whole midnight watchin euro 2008 final…. OMG…. I can sae her fav team spain did the better job last nite lar… Germany was totalli clueless on hw to attack into the spain’s defense… I guess Lahm haf to be blame for the goal tat Torres scored tat lead to a spain victory in the 1st 1/2…



Hm… tis time round, I had no team tat I support in particular, coz when it comes to euro, world cup or any competition tat is in relation to countries, I am a neutral one… Well, maninly the reason is tat tis kind of competition, the coach of the country haf onli the countri’s best wif him, so he can onli put in the country’s best XI on the field….



Hwever, if u r sayin competition like champions league or UEFA cup… it will be like teams vs teams where the best players the club tat can afford will try to win the other clubs with the skills of the managers and the players…. So, I normally support clubs more than countries….



Aniwae, tis past few daes, I am havin some retraining in my volunteer leader’s journey…. I knw tat I had mani flaws in the past, even until nw, I cannt sae I am a veri gd leader lor… But at least I knw, I had improve bit by bit thru the yrs… At least some of my flaws had been changed for the better, but some still stayed wif me….

Gotta apologize to those whom had worked wif me in the past…. I realli thanx all of u for stayin thru till the end of the route wif me durin the times we all worked together…. I wanted to thanx u all for bearin wif my bad tempers and veri poor leadership…. Hwever, I wan to thanx u all becoz its all of ur bearin wif me tat made me felt confident to continue wif wat I wanted to do….

All these yrs, thanx u all…..

Nw comin back…. I haf been busy plannin for sept’s apsn outin…. OMG… there’s still alot to do lar…. N wats worse, I had onli done a little bit onli…. Currentli, I am also assemblin a new committee for the apsn outin in sept and oct…. Tis grp of leaders I am goin to work wif are grp of leaders whom I had worked wif before and the trust is there for quite some time….



Hm…. still waitin for one more leader to join the sept outin’s comm…. Aniwae, had to thanx alan for helpin me out… I guess I do haf to put in more effort le horx… Or else, ltr august come, I will haf even more things to concern abt….



Actualli, wat can we do durin mid autumn festival except eatin mooncake and haf the lantern???? Arghx… Headache, headache…. Nvm, will tok to alan and the guys soon….



Oh, oh…. yst, I started to play one new RPG game… its called Secret of the Solstice… Its quite a cool game… Hm, for yrs playin rpg game, I tink tis time round, my technique haf somehw improved…. But aniwae, anione interested in playin rpg game, I do recommend tis game…..

FINAL - Episode 3

June 22 2008, Sunday

Argh…. wat a freakin headache I had nw… I had some hard time gettin out of my bed todae, tink cld be due to some late slpin ard 2am, 3 am tis few daes…. Sigh… actualli dunno wat is happenin in my life also…. Its juz gettin towards nowhere… Realli dun understand why after NS, my life suddenli stops like its nobody’s business…. Haiz….



Comin back to Y movie premier… Its a movie called Get Smart… Quite funnie lar… Well, comedi movies r supposed to let u smile and laugh, so I tink tis movie has gotta everione smilin n laughin bah…. Nt a bad one… It has done its part….

Ok, before tat…. I had dinner at Spizza wif the rest of the comm of Y camp…. we had some interestin chat and some good pizza… I also managed to chat wif yiwei… hahaha…. quite some time never see him le…. Ard 9 plus pm, the group of us went up to the cinema for the movie…. I didnt wan to get ani thing to eat, coz past experience told me tat if I had a big box of popcorn, my drinks will be finished before my popcorn does….

So, I got myself a cup of pepsi… Den, there’s tis problem… U got to bear urself wif the bladder problem… N I got to bear wif it for an hr or so…. Haha…. Rushin off frm the cinema to find one toilet to remove my bladder seems like wat I haf always been doin after everi of my movie…. hahaha….

Late at nite, after the movie, I didnt go home wif most of them, instead, jerome, ying hui n her bf, justin and me went to Harry’s bar for drinkin session…. Aniwae, the nite’s long tok at harry’s bar made me feel tat some of my decisions will haf to continue… I guessed its never easy…. Ooh…. thanx to justin, I managed to get home…. hahahah….

Hm… comin back to reality…. Days has past, and I felt tat I needed to do more for my life…. I haf requested on more enquiries for OJT frm seals enterprise…. Hm… workin in the social services sector, I will haf to gif myself more time to tink abt it…. Coz there’s a lot of things I realli worri abt….



Comin back to ymca…. Nw, its been wks after the y camp… Yeah…. my most significant n memorable one…. Haha…. actualli, all y camps I haf been to, are memorable to me… Aniwae, its back to Y outings, reading clubs and activities…. N everi thing will start frm tis comin july which is abt one wk frm nw….



5th of July, I am invited to be one of the leaders for Y MINDS outin… coolz…. Actualli, the grp which I started out at ymca is MINDS, so nw be able to be one of the leaders is something I haf been wishin for…. But, seriousli, if Y MINDS outin clashes wif Y reading club @ SCAS, I will still go for reading club…. Hahah…. N comin to august, it will be one yr I am involve in Y outings le…. Coolz….



Den wif more time spent on Y Confidence, I will certainli haf to sacrifice my time in y reading club @ SCAS… coz july and september I haf Y confidence and thus cannt go to y reading club…. Aniwae, I will also be involved wif tution at metta sch frm july onwards…..



Comin rest of the mths….. Its all abt y confidence…. N I will also be takin charge of Y APSN outin for sept and october for the 1st time as an overall IC…. Hm… havent spoken to eileen tat I will be usin new leaders, but will tell her soon…. Ehx… my intention is to use a new grp of leaders for my 2 apsn outins…. which I haf work wif them before lar…. Hm… will tok to her in aug….



KK… its time to end…. I will see wat’s interestin things will happen…..

FINAL - Episode 2

June 16 2008, Monday

Looking at the time now… its 2 am in the morning… I am tinkin abt wat shld I be writin in tis entry seriousli… It gaf me some time to ponder over wat has happen over the wks, or shld I sae wat will be happenin to me frm the next time I open my eyes after I went to slp ltr….

Hm… why nt let’s go back to wat happen in the past few days…..

Let’s see…. Wednesday…. I went back to ymca to help out wif the feedback form thingy…. N tat makes my whole dae @ ymca lor… Nw, the whole morning had been me typing the feedback forms in the com…. I guessed mani were surprised by my new hair color…. Ok, I bleach the whole hair and ppl get excited…. But well, tis kind of excitement happens onli once in a while…. hahah…

































haha…. its nt the 1st time I am changin my hair colors though… Coz before I enlisted into NS, my hair was strikin red…. Ok, aniwae, back to wat happen at ymca… the most funniest thingy happen after lunch…. Ying hui, mai, kai fai (he reminded me of his h in kah… which shld be spelt correctli as kai… haha…), guo sheng and me found some fake bread at action citi in PS…. somehw, eileen believe us and tried to ate it…. Haha…. the whole scene was filmed dwn lar… looks like after glow, tis video will be shown lol….

I tink kai fai gt addicted to it and went out wif wei guang (after he got tricked also) to buy more breads…. OMG…. heard they are tryin to trick more y camp main comm durin their debrief…. hahaha…. hw cld after glow nt be fun???? Aniwae, my rest of the daes were spent helpin yew chong to clear his store wif guo sheng n kai fai…..

Ooh…. I gotta the tix for the movie premier tmr…. saw my facebook inbox tat tmr there will be a lot of mediacorp artiste there for the movie premier of GET SMART…. hwever, tat movie is nt sth tat interest me though…. more of the post camp gatherin tmr interest me alot…..

Aniwae, tat nite, kai fai, ying hui, guo sheng and me met justin ( his eyes were rather huge for the hair colors….) for dinner at clark quay….. den we went for drinkin session…. Ok, its nt fruit juice but beer…. Though, guo sheng and kai fai dun drink…. strange…. Aniwae, I was rather sad durin the process of drinkin…. we had some heartfelt tok also…. Guessed the interestin part was tat we all spam yining’s handphone wif msgs on wat’s kai fai father’s name… ( coz bth of them had the same surname…)

I made some decisions after the drink…. Den, wei guang came and we all left for home….

Hm…. I guessed the next few days, I had been more on facebook postin funnie pictures of the programs team, addin ppl or ppl addin me…. Hm…. also lookin for some jobs tat I liked….

Tink tmr will be sendin in resumes to jobs related to social services sector…. also waitin for repli on more info frm the seals enterprise ( they are the grp which help out in the y camp’s camp fire…. saw eileen’s mail tat they are askin ppl to join them as trainers… so see whether can get a job at there…. hehe…)

Ooh…. take tis chance to wish my elder god sis, serene, HAPPIE BIRTHDAE…. she mae haf been someone I loved in the past, but nw I juz wished our friendship will never ends…. I am realli happie to haf her as my elder god sis le….

Tink its fridae, I spent the whole nite till saturdae mornin at my friend’s rave’s hse…. Discussin abt business opportunities and playin his psp…. Ok… its a long time I haf nt play yugioh, the game le…. so rather crave to play the game leh….

After one nite of nt slpin and playin…. I guessed I am more confident of makin tat impt decisions after my drinkin session wif justin and the rest….

For such a long time, I haf always been wooin after tis girl…. N I haf never succeed…. I always thot I haf nt done much better…. But I guess the problems dun lies wif any thing else, but me… After for such a long time, its onli durin those heartfelt tokin session tat I realised I was never a guy who can take gd care of ani girl….

Aniwae, after all these yrs, I nw onli realised I haf wasted all my life into something which I will never even able to achieve…. Hw foolish I can be…. I haf knw the fact tat I am nt tat handsome…. Nw I also knw the fact tat I was never a good guy any girl can put her faith on….

So I decided to stop wastin time on findin girlfriend…. Lookin at hw ning who has decided to put her time more on volunteerin work, I realised tat its abt time to move on to something I shld haf done more…. Nw, the main priority is to find a job, get stable income and to do more volunteerin work to gif back to the societi….

As for relationship wise, I seriousli felt tat there’s no purpose in it animore…. No pt to look for one animore le…. I guessed its nt easy but well, its the most wise decision tat I haf made so far… Nw, its time for more impt things … Movin on…..

Nw comin back to realiti…. todae, I went to the recee for MINDS outin…. I haf nt much to complain abt except probabali the workin style between the apsn committee and the minds committee r a lot of different…. I may nt be tat xi guang lar…. coz workin style is different mah….  But watever it is, I realli haf to thanx weili for givin me a chance to be part of tis mth’s committee….

So wat’s goin to happen to me tmr??? I guessed a start will be to send out my resumes… Hm… focus on my volunteerin work… N wats more, see wat is happenin on facebook… (hahah…. tats a part of pure entertainment)…



Actualli, I shld be grateful tat god has given me one more dae to live, rite??? Its alreadi something worth happie abt when u r able to open ur eyes everi mornin…. Alrite… tmr’s the movie premier… Wonder wat fun tingy will happen…..

FINAL - Episode 1

June 09 2008, Monday

MY SIGNIFICANT 5th Y CAMP IS OVER!!!

Ok… Now over the 4 days 3 nites, I haf attended my 5th and the most significant y camp in my volunteering history has juz been over… Its the most memorable one, though in the initial stage, I wasnt happi wif all the changes and wat is happenin for me in the programs team and in y camp preparation BUT I had to admit, I will always rmb the programs team for life…. With them, my 5th y camp has been a great one…



June 05 2008

Now comin to june 04’s late nite… ard 11 plus pm, I am still preparin my station 2’s material… OOOH… hw I wished I had someone to be beside me to help me thru it… As the clock ticks… I realised its 4am plus and I am still cuttin and pastin my materials… OMG… at tis time, my dad has alreadi woke up lol…

Ard 5 plus am, I had finalli finished all my station games’ preparations and finished packin… Nt bad…. Arhx… needed some slp… so dozes off… Until 6am, my dad woke me up, den I realised y camp is juz a few hrs awae… Due to fatigue, I went back to slp again until 6.30am… Nw den I woke up, had my breakfast and took all my stuffs and left my hse headin for SHINES…

7 plus am, my cab reached SHINES and I met huiting at the gate… We walked in…. Well, my dae in the programs team has finalli started….

The dae started off for me wif pitchin the tents… Though I dunno wats it for aniwae… Den I had a little chat wif jerome… Ard 8 plus am, Jerome and me went to get the banner up on the SHINES gate…. Woah… Y CAMP CHALLENGE JUNE 08 is here….

The programs got busy now… Initialli I didnt knw wat to do… but somehw hearin tat charlene needed gamemaster for her programs, I stepped up and told her to gif me one station… Well and I gt it, its the Hula tunnel… Hm… startin of the ice breaker part, my stn had no teams yet, so I managed to walk ard and tinkin deepli of wat I shld do later….

Den finalli ard 9 plus am, teams started to come in…. startin off wif warriors, riders, sailors and runners… hahaha… I was like shoutin here and there, gettin them to get off HIGH as a start… Kool manz… I truli felt successful as a leader for the first time, as I managed to stand up confidentli leadin teams after teams to participate in my game… N of course, makin all of them so hgh alreadi on the first dae….

After lunch, I helped out in Jerome’s amazing race… Though at the initial stage I wasnt included in any of the stations, but Jerome still let me join phillips at the Duck Tour stn which the teams are supposed to do 100 no NGs…. Ard 2 plus pm, I reached the area, put the teams down and waited for the 1st team to arrive….

Hm… tink tat royce’s team arrived 1st… Well, the game is abt a series of actions where the team haf to do it in 100 seconds wifout ani mistakes… Haha… Had fun nt onli wif royce’s team, but subsequent teams which came to my stn also had trouble clearin it…. Ooh yar, tahnx phyllips whom came in time to improvise the stn…..

The last team to come is yining’s grp… I dunno, but somehw I felt tat she’s lucki… Ooh, there’s still the tv stn comin to film her grp doin the game…. Haha…. In the end, I see her so mai li, I decide to let her pass somehw wifout wantin to torture her grp and her… Aniwae, her team gt 1st ehx… Nt bad….

Dinner time and I managed to get a rice box… Den all the gamemasters sat justin’s van back and I had to sae, its like drivin initial d’s car, he’s driftin all the time lar… OMG… haha… guessed the most funniest part is yinghui crackin jokes in the van to and fro … hahah….. Hm… nathan and charlene were like chit chattin till I was like arguin why am I sittin in the middle of the 2 couple… OMG…

Hm… Nite game was cancelled… So, the rest of the programs team waited for our debrief… Well, the 1st nite was good… Each of us gaf on suggestions to improve tmr’s game and nightwalk… Ooh… I haf to sae a word of respect to jerome and nathan, they bth walked all the wae to kallang river to recee lar….

I slept ard 12 plus am… wifout coverin myself wif my fav slpin bag…. (hm… if u knw wat happen on dec07’s y camp, u shld knw why I liked my slpin bag so much… hahah)… Ooh… I was usin it as a pillow and I gt mani mosquitoes bitin me….

June 06 2008

I woke up ard 6.30am… I was woken up actualli by guo sheng’s alarm, as he was slpin juz beside me lar… After some dress up and stylin of my hair… I took my bag and left the camp site…

After restin at home for a while, and also chargin my hp, also to take my slippers as I forgotten to take it yst… I set off back to seletar camp for the last time I guessed… Ard 9 plus am, I reached the camp…. and after some adminstration work done… I HAD FINALLI ORD LOR!!!!

Kool… but sad, coz I never saw ani of my camp mate… Actualli wantin to bid gdbye to them de, but somehw dunno where did they went to… sigh… aniwae, I had my last breakfast at the 35 canteen… N I left the camp wifout lookin back wif a glance… So, finalli I stepped out of the camp back as a civilian… FINALLI>>>> Nw movin forward…..

Back at the Y camp site… The programs had nth much to do except wif natalie and charlene doin the high elements… Nathan and Jerome were playin wif guitar… As for me, I didnt wan to waste my time, so I began to plan who my gamemaster for my stn games were be…

After lunch, the beneficiairies come in… N u knw its realli touchin tat most of them still rmbs u… WOAH… I am so touched… Den ard 3 plus pm, I went back to my stn games… I can feel tat tis time round the programs team realli unite together as we discussed on wat we are doin ltr… I also had my moments as I advise them on wat shld be done….

As I was sick before the y camp, my voice hasnt initialli returned… but somehw, in my 2nd dae at camp, I still managed to find some energy to shout… Ok…. again, I made all the teams high after seein them at a lvl low energy…. Gd tat they came to my stn as I saw them cheerin for their teammates and buddies…. Of course, tis shld be wat a camp is, where everione gets HIGH….

After tat, I gt to rest as its charlene and shiqi were doin mass dance…. After dinner, I gt busi again as I will be helpin nathan wif night walk… Actualli nathan is the most busy as he had to tink of guidelines and mani other things…. Ard 7 plus pm, he gaf out the instructions and thus, we headed out for the night walk….

I guided riders in their nitewalk… Nt bad lar, seein their teams walkin as one and nt leavin ani one out…. Hwever time wasnt on all teams side, as I rushed the riders back to prepare for tmr’s water conquest and to bath….

Ard 11 plus pm, the whole program team gt news tat one of the beneficiairy is missin and we all went ard the site to search, though he was nt found, but ltr, we got news tat he’s back home… Phew… I guessed the volunteer has to play a BIG part in tis… Even if he cannt communicate wif his buddies, he shldnt haf even argued wif his buddies….

Ard 12 plus am… The whole programs were havin our debrief… Haha… I guessed everione was realli tired after the 2nd dae, but nevertheless, we had put in our best effort… Hm… well, gd job done for eveione on 2nd dae… MOVIN on to the 3rd dae…. OOh yar, I slpt at 1am plus lol….

June 07 2008

Woke up ard 6.30am… I left the camp site again to go back and take my bicycle pump… Argh… I realli hate it… Why do I haf to leave the y camp a 2nd time???? I realli dun get it… Aniwae, I was back at the camp site ard 10 plus am, after finishin my breakfast though….

After returnin to camp, I realised tat mai was alreadi there… ho ho ho… Aniwae, it was den tat I realised tat the programs team are preparin for the wet weather programs… After my station games debrief, the programs team also started to get ready for their wet weather program….

Initialli I started to watch the mass dance, but tinkin charlene and shiqi had no problem though…. After all, the stage were meant for charlene…. I went over to the wet weather programs side… but wat I saw was leadin me to tink tat they are nt goin aniwae, I told jerome and nathan to change their games….

I den suggested to use KFC and modifyin it…. As the next 2 teams come… we started to let them to do team cheers…. Den I had to show the teams on hw to play the KFC…. haha… actualli I had no more energi and voice left… seriousli… tats why I wanted to let nathan and jerome take over the job…. But somehw, responsibiliti let me continued wif the job….

Nw encouragin them to play is something I had been doin for the past few daes, so I encouraged the 2 teams to play on…. Until seriousli cannt play ani more, den we had to stop… But my larrararin was like go up to another lvl lar… Aniwae, jerome surpises me by shoutin like me… hahah… gd gd… he’s got the potential, but definetli needed someone to guide him…. I guessed he did well…

After lunch, my gamemasters and me went over to a college to set up for my y olympics stn games…. I was quite angri lar as some of them were like takin their own sweet time to set up the games… ARGH!!!… Finalli after some time, the Y Olympics game started….

I wasnt happie wif the attitude some of them gaf me… If the game is still playable, play on, why shld it be cancelled??? They are nt me, they seriousli dunno hw much I put in to prepare lor… DAMN IT!!!! I can improvise ani stns in my games, but definetli nt cancel it….

After the 1st session, I sent a few of them back to their log team… yesh, I didnt haf enugh ppl in programs team, tats why I needed to borrow ppl frm the log team… N tis is wat I got???? Hey, the attitude is SERIOUSLI NT RITE lor…. Aniwae, I had to thanx jerome, nathan, mai, alicia and huijing for supportin me till the last moment… hm…. had to thanx chritstabelle for stayin at her stn for so long….

I did explained to jerome, nathan and even justin and eileen on why I dun like the attitude of some of them… Ooh… thanx jerome for takin over a particular stn…. Phew…. For me, tis Y olympic has been a success…. Coz eveythin went out well… Haha… I guessed the most interestin part is well, I had a heartfelt tok wif yining, after seein her so stress and tired…

I guessed some encouragement realli helped yining… She seems like cldnt take it ani more lol… ai yoh… overburnt liao… But well, she will be STRONGER after tis y camp…. she will be…. yining jia you orhx…. I guessed though its her 1st time as a sub camp commander, she had did well…. but she juz needed some encouragement… N as her gd friend, if I hasnt gaf her, I realli dunno if he cld still take it animore lol…. yining, I believe u can do it de…. U haf did well….

After the Y olympics ended, I sent bth sailors and riders to prepare for their performances ltr… Den, its busi and chaotic moments for nathan, jerome and me as we 3 went to help the log team lor… After all the helpin and dinner, its camp fire time….

Its a touchin moment, seein teams after teams performin for all…. N seein the photos, I almost cried, becoz the hard work, all of us in the programs team put in had finalli paid off and worth while….

11 plus pm, we all sat the charted bus back and ard 12 midnight plus, the programs team had their final debrief…. I guessed the emotions are there, and its the 1st time, I felt encouraged and felt tat wat I haf done are all worth it and the whole team recognizes wat I had done for the team… I also had to sae a BIG thanx you to all in the programs team… Coz wifout u all, my tis y camp will nt be the BEST one….

We went on to go out and had some tokin wif each other…. Hm… I guessed all of us were too tired and slpt ard 5 plus am…. Woah…. next morning and last dae in y camp had juz came…..

AFTER THE CAMP

Ok… before anything else, gotta thanx the programs team for agreein to my idea of lettin Sailors and Warriors for being the best 2 teams… Hm…. actualli choosin sailors as one of the best team came frm the idea of hw yining did her best for her team and hw she sacrificed so much which makes me feel tat she needed some confidence booster…. As her friend, I haf nt been helpin her much in ani wae, so tis cld be the little tat I cld haf done….

As for warriors, nevertheless, huiting haf shown me her leadership skills improve greatli among the yrs… Though, my decision of nt supportin durin her times when she was the president of interact club, but nw, she has shown me sth a leader shld haf…. a aura which a ideal leader in my mind shld haf….

I haf to congratulate Sailors and Warriors again….

After some clearin up, takin of photos wif each members in the programs team, n biddin gdbye to all the guys in the programs team… I left the camp site and headed home at 3 plus pm… I slpt all the wae till the next mornin…..



Hm… yesh, tis entri came in a little bit late, I had been accompaniyin my dad for his day surgeri in the mornin… Den I was dyin my hair to a different colour… Hm… its the 1st colour, will haf 2 more colours to go….



As for my dec 08’s y camp which will be my 6th camp, I had nt been told of my roles yet by eileen… but well, I am nt goin to expect too much coz I realli dun wan to get ani disappoointment… We will see hw it goes lar…. so dun expect ani thing 1st lor….



Finalli, I still haf to sae a BIG thanx U to jerome, nathan, natalie and charlene… U all are the greatest!!!!
