Juz on friday, 21 dec, was the volunteers appreciation nite… I haf to admit, I am a little disappointed… haha…

For mths, I haf been puttin in all my best and worked hard in volunteerin work @ ymca, no matter hw difficult it is for me, I will always put ymca’s volunteerin work as 1st priorities in between friends and NS… hwever, on the volunteers appreciation nite, its like somehw all my hard work was gone to waste….

I didn’t get the outstandin volunteers award… Nt even a nomination… Haiz… To said the truth, no sad is bluff ppl de… and the worst thing is I still haf to tri and enjoy thruout the whole ceremony… haiz…

So ard 8 plus pm, after seein ah li, huijing, wei guang and hui xin gotta their awards, I left the place…. Maybe its tat I am bored out of the whole ceremony, but also a feelin of dejected bah….

Back at home, I gaf myself a self reflect… When I haf onli done tat much didnt get nominated, den wat abt, the other 2 musketters, yiwei and huili…. They haf done more than me, n shld get themselves inside the award, but instead, they r also left out…. I muz sae, why shld I felt dejected and sad when the 2 of them is nt…. Haha…

To tink further, I guessed wat my bro, chi chiang told me, I tink shld be a word of wisdom for me to go on in the long road in ymca…. Tat is : “When u r a volunteer, u do nt care whether u r a leader or a volunteer, u dun care who is the beneficiairies, u shld nt even care abt the awards. Ur mission is juz to serve!”

Well, tats the case, as I af told myself, even if I dun get any award tis yr, I will still be at ymca next yr arhx… haha… Oh yar gotta thanx AJ for her encouragement… Maybe next yr lol…

Goin back to wednesdae, 19 dec… haha…. juz 3 daes after the y camp, I am involved in ymca’s flag dae sia… U may tink, am I goin to tire out myself…. but well, eileen bk me quite earli sia… so juz went on to help out lol…

In the mornin, brought my grp frm ang mo kio stn to toa payoh stn… Den spilt them up as they went on to all ard toa payoh… I went on to walk ard…

Actualli, I had a mission in mind… Its to buy a gift for tat someone in my mind… Todae is suppose to be a special dae where I confess to tat special someone in my mind…. So after walkin for almost an hr… I went on to a gift shop and bought the present…

While doin flag dae till 11 am, I thot to myself, maybe juz sms her for lunch lar… Yupz… she’s also doin flag dae but at novena stn… I initialli thot well, juz ask lol, no guarettee tat she will meet me for lunch de mah… Coz I never is so gd luck de….

After tat continued to do, ard 11.30am, my hp vibrated, well… yesh, its her sms… she agreed… So, we meet at 1pm… But hor, after we meet, I guessed I realli need to buck up my communication skills… Argh… realli hated myself for nt tokin more to her durin lunch…

Its my fault lar… coz basicalli, I shld haf sae more things to her lol… haiz… Worse thing is behind… After lunch, as we are to depart frm each other… I intended to gif her the gift I specialli bought for her… but onli to stand near the stn gate for a few mins, den while seein her leavin, den I decided to chase after her….

But well, she walked quite quickli tat I didnt managed to find her… Well, there goes my chance… haiz… Anywae, after my shift at toa payoh, I went to outram stn to find the injured pauline and told her hw sad I was…. Haiz… at least one person knws who I like and I managed to share my sadness to someone else…

Thankfulli, pauline is veri trustworthy de….

5pm, I proceed to ymca for my 2nd shift flag dae… Wah ahaha… veri de busy hor… Tis time round is to do the flag dae wif apsn beneficiairies…. N the best thing is, I managed to do it wif my jun 07’s buddy, yan tong… Yeah….

He is still as usual, shy and always smilin to me… haha… but thanxfulli tis time round, he did nt follow jie jie lar… I also dunno hw but durin y camp, he always follow jie jie de… haha…. Maybe if ning n mei xuan is there, he will follow her instead lol…  

Well, its a pleasant nite, but donation were poor… dunno if its the people are stingy, or they juz simpli ignored the beneficiaires… Wah liew… yan tong realli tried his best lol… but well, its nt as bad as I thot lar… haha….

He went home bein fetched by his dad ard 8 plus pm…. N everythin ended ard 9 plus pm bah… But after tat justin, my junior in interact club, ite, edwin and me stayed on to tok crap wif eileen lol…. haha… realli fun lar…

Oh yar… before I forgot, I recommended ning and AJ for the comin jun 08’s y camp…. and wah… needed to send e-mail recommendin the bth of them which I sent it yesterdae nite…. thou I haf told ning and AJ to send me their leadership skills… Oh… yesterdae, i also sent to eileen askin her hw can I help in her upcomin y camp n whether she wld like daniel to be part of the apsn committee….
 
Nvm… anywae, durin the chat wif eileen, justin and me told eileen wat she tinks abt the camp commander, sub camp commander shld be and wat is her aspect and thots for the comin y camp… Its realli gd to be able to openli discuss wif eileen, so tat at least I can understand wat she wans….

Hwever, as wat justin and me thot, tinkin the upcomin y camp committee may be stress out easili orhz….
