09 more days…

After returnin frm gedong duty todae… I was realli shag… But anywae, gt a mac donald’s big breakfast to brighten my dae… Yeah!!! Well, guessed its another mondae blues sia… Lets hope tat nth worse cld happen todae…

Yesterdae, I managed to tok to my vwos co host leader, shun wei… Haha… Dunno why leh… when I tok to her, she is always laughin one… Anywae, went to her friendster n took a look liao… She seems like… hm… arhx… enard lol…

Well… she’s realli a nice girl… but realli dun get it why she can laugh one… Maybe its my blunt wae of tokin??? Dunno lar… lets hope tat the next time I tok to her, she will nt laugh tat often bah… haha…

I had mani replies yesterdae whether they r comin or nt… Guessed some of them realli cannt make it, but well, all well ends well…

Anywae, I juz returned back to seletar camp onli, grayson told me to go for avi le… Wah… juz came back onli leh… Bo bian… But sianz leh… the staff sergent goin also… Diaoz… Tat means I cannt fall aslp in avi lol…

At there, 2 7 tons failed for the first time… so had to go for another round of inspection le… which is at 1pm… anywae, for the time bein, stanley n me went on to slack ard lol…. Oh yar… I asked abt my chalet sia… coz after knwin tat my dad’s ntuc card is no longer wif him, I juz had to pay extra money to get the rm on tat dae liao…

Comin back to camp, was rather a mixture of slack n busy… I realli dunno wat I had been doin, but I juz kept on doin n doin… Which is rather tirin sia… no wonder they sae tat service support is sia kang parti… Its realli true…

Eveyrthin ends ard 6 plus pm… Hor seh boh…

11 more days…

A great morning todae as I woke up around 7 plus am… Woah… I had a great breakfast and spent some time thinkin wat I am goin to do todae…. I guessed it wld be another great time at the Y readin club…

Reached YMCA ard 8 plus am… I wander ard the place lol…. Coz all of us are still waitin for the bus to arrive… Anywae, I told pauline tat I needed the name list for my vwos frm her… Haiz… well, it will defiently be another fruitful dae todae…

Finalli at 10 am, reached SCAS… oh yar, on the bus, saw raymond who is goin to teach my grp abt poem… But hor, after I saw him, I in my mind sae tat I haf to keep the time as tight as possible and onli let him haf ard 10 to 30 mins of teachin time…

Maybe I guessed it will be quite borin bah…

Anywae, when my grp and me went into the klassrm, and due to lack of volunteer, I guessed I had to do sth fast…. After all, the beneficiairies were all starin at us, so maybe, they r realli bored…

Out of the sudden, I told all the volunteer to help arrange the beneficiaries to sit in a circle… tat was den the start of the first activiti, bingo… Its fun lar… but definelty it cldn’t last for too long, until one of the volunteers suggested to me why nt change activities…

I den took out the colourin pictures for the beneficiaires to colour… Maybe they somehw enjoyed it… But tat cannt be the activities for the whole of the reading programme todae… Duh…

Thank god tat pauline brought in chocolates… Well, tat was a wae to let the beneficiairies to feel tat they had did well… haha… I gaf them the chocolate as their prizes… Well, they also had a 2nd set when they completed the pokemon quiz… Oh yar… forget to thank valarie for brinin me the 2nd set of chocolate… Thanx arhx…

Ard 11.10am, its time for raymond to teach… His poem seems funnie to me lar… I guessed rymin of words doesn’t haf any connections to poems writin, isn’t it??? poems shld be sth which u wanted to express it wif ur feelins…

But well, the beneficiairies does enjoyed it so much… Oh… I also had some qualiti time spendin wif the beneficiaries when I taught them to read a passage… Kool…

Lunch time, all the beneficiaires went on a tour to mac donald… Hm… after they studied and worked here for so long, they didn’t knw abt this place… Hw sad… I guessed we realli had to plan more outins for the beneficiairies le…

Well… I am permanelti in grp b liao… ai yo yo… Hw arhx… Haf to see raymond everytime lol… Sianz… Might as well ask yi wei to teach poem rite??? haha… Haiz… see hw the next mth will goes bah…

Hm… I was supposed to be interviewed by valerie’s bf hor… Dunno hw come in the end, no interview le leh… haha… Anywae, nt realli impt…

Congrats… I haf finalli sent out my birthday chalet’s invititations lol… Hooray!!!

12 more days…

I realli dunno wat to sae abt todae… but its realli bad… Realli realli bad… I believed I will never had to do it unless I am bein forced to… Maybe if dalton was there, he cld tink of solutions coz I am nt realli gd anymore in solvin problems…

Nw the thing is there is this heavy metal staircase which is needed for COC parade (change of command)… and in BSS, there’s onli left 5 person… Den we haf raymond wif daibetis, santos wif leg injury, jason wif leg problems n he’s goin ord… So left stanley and me…

Yesterdae, when we carried the metal staircase to hanger 56, we almost used full strength of BSS… Todae, onli abt 3 persons can be used to carry the staircase… Dalton went on MA, Grayson and Cong went for water pt, den nicholas went to medical centre…

Wat cld I haf done??? If anything realli happens, who is goin to be responsible for it??? So wats all the pt of hurryin us to carry over there…. I realli felt unfair as we dun haf enugh man power… Wat can we realli do???

I started to blame grayson… Coz he shld knw better… He shld haf told the new boss abt our situation… But well… He juz keeps on hurryin me… Damn… I cld nt forsake the safety of the man juz for the sake of finishin the job on time…

But well… haiz… its past, its past alreadi… So be it… I juz hope tat when mondae I went back to camp after duty, the situation gets better… No matter hw much I haf done, I juz feel tired and why I cannt do more….

Anywae, todae’s readin programme meetin was a fun session… The JC students were all a bubbli type of ppl… Haha… I guessed I will realli had some great time workin wif them for these few mths…

I handed up the form to eileen yesterdae le… Guessed Y camp is finalli comin veri soon… Haiz… Everythin became so closed to each other… Oh yar, my partner, shun wei finalli contacted me for the y proms… Finalli…. looks like need to gif her info lol…

13 more days…

Another busy day for me in seletar camp todae… Ai yoh yoh… How come I goin for operation liao, still got so mani stuff to do de… Wah… everydae like tat will definetli make me more tired than usual sia…

Start of the mornin, Grayson, dalton, raymond and me alreadi began to check the 7 ton’s milage and engine hours… Wah… and its onli 8 plus am lol… Yet, it seems like work frm tis mth onwards begin veri earli le…

Ard 10 am plus, all 4 of us proceed to our boss’s office to find stanley who is doin usms for all BSS guys… Anywae, usms is where you think of any ideas where you can used to improve on the army itself…

Juz as I thot I cld stay all the dae in our boss’s office, I was called back to the office as some guys wanted to loan out stores… Wah… cui cui nt ard, den I will haf to do for him sia… Cannt stand him de leh… He went on MA at a veri wrong time…

After I went back to the office, den I knew they are nt loanin nw… Sianz… I even took out the glass window panel juz to squeeze into the office and alreadi get ready liao… Wah sia… Dun understand….

Lunch ended, grayson, raymond and me are back at 7 ton carpark to on the engines as to see whether it can be used or nt… Sianz… the staff never said earli…. or else, earli in the mornin, I wld alreadi log in lol…

Back at BSS, the new boss wanted 2 camo nets…. He’s realli fast lol.. Juz before I cld even reached the place, the new boss rode a bicycle dwn to see hw’s the qualiti… Haiz… But the scariest part is where he come dwn and made a spot check lol…

The camou nets are long and complicated… To wash it, u will need lots and lots of water, den the place is another problem le… Seriousli, there is such a small space tat we had put near a tree to let it dry…

Before leavin the camp, I still had like done carryin the stairs and tidyin up the office… Oh ya… tmr stand by office sia… Haiz… cannt blame, the office is mostly untidy, no wonder when hw boss saw it, he’s unhappie…

Looks like tis COC parade makes my life more tired than usual….

Nite, I went to YMCA for the mass briefin for the Y proms… on my wae to YMCA, I started to like fall aslp… Too tired liao… and the taxi is realli a place where u can slp… haha… journey too long le mah…

Anywae, I met my corporate volunteers representatives… They and me had a discussion session and we managed to get some issues to be settled… Phew… I never did tok to guys like them before sia… Too bad, still needed more improvements….

Haiz… the VWOs never come leh… Guessed its time to e-mail them as I haf some unsolved qns…. Too tired liao… Needed rests nw….

14 more days…

Too busy for me… I worked till I didn’t noticed that time has passed so quickli… Woah… Glad tat I had a fruitful dae… But it makes me too tired liao… I guessed as daes becomes shorter, I will try and make my life better…

Actualli, minus 2 sat and 2 sun, I onli had left 10 more workin daes… Wah… nt sae tat its long, but its nt short either… So these few daes, watever I can do, I will definetly keep on goin…

Juz start of the mornin, grayson and me went straight to find out hw mani 7 tons we had in the total holdin… Wah… walked ard the ETC carpark, and the FMW workshop, we managed to found all the 7 tons… Den proceed on to 35 QM to find the inners and ramps… Ai yoh… the salt became crusts on the equipments itself le…

Den my new boss summon everyone to ask abt the YTs… In the last series, I talked about YTs… Well, to bascialli explain… YT3 is where you bk in equipment but u haf to state tat in our own system… den YT5 is where u alreadi bk in the system, and make sure u take a copy back to prove tat its in the workshop… All these are impt as u had to made sure tat ur equipments will nt be lost…

After tat I went back to office to assist some of them in complin the total holdins of their equipments… Wah… its a total chaos… Suddenli dunno wat is goin on for quite a while sia… But glad everythin ended after some time…

Dunno I rest until wat time… Probabli past lunch time lol… Grayson and dalton hurried back to find the may’s YT5… OMG… for such a long time and our new boss dun even had the copy, all of us became a entire search ard the office tryin to find it…

WTH… in my file, there were 3 YT3 found and its 1 mth late… OMG… its seem tat it became such a despair to the guys tat we dun even knw wat we will be facin… Haiz… I guessed such incidents happens out of nowhere…

After the afternoon roll call, the main ICs were called to see the new boss… while some of us waited outside for a while… Ard 1 plus pm, santos came out, gettin raymond and me to accompani him to maintainence to find the YT number…

Too bad leh… the staff there onli wans to do it tmr… Haiz… Upon reachin back the office, I went on to rest… Haiz… Juz as some of us were chit chattin… Call rang and raymond plus me proceed back to 1183…

I went on to find grayson and dalton to gif them the documents… As for raymond, I told him to go and buy lunch for us… Nw, there’s where the busyness started again… Dunno frm wat time, I started to type the total holdin usin com…

So it went on and on, phew, the almond holdin were done… Lunch were eaten ard 3 plus pm… den I went on to continue to finished the candace holdins… Wah… look at the time, its ard 5 plus pm lol…

Hw had my dae been in seletar camp sia….

15 more days…

I returned back to seletar camp today… As I walked along the pathway, I told myself… Its a new challenge as I returned… Its time to show a new results in wat I am goin to do, and wif the number of daes left, I need to do more…

8 am, its roll call… nth much todae… Hwever, heard tat the COC parade is on 9 oct lol… Maybe I was realli lucki bah… Got operation comin up… Cannt march thou… Phew… But the world keeps on changin, looks like will haf to keep an eye on it…

Back at office, gotta sae… Wifout any appointment le, makes my life quite easy… I am nt obligated to take charge of any stores… Guessed nw, whoever I wans to help, I will juz go n help…

The work is never finished… Basicalli alm bii haf finished its internal stocktake, but other sections are still goin on… and sendin in for preventive measures (PM) and all other stuff makes the life of the guys busy all dae long…

Lunch time… To compare the food of the cookhse in tekong and seletar are sth which u will nt do… The quality is wae different, so u will haf to try n taste it in a different wae… Food is indeed edible, but gd food helps u to work better…

After afternoon roll call, dalton proceed to his gedong duty, cui cui went for MA… so left a few of us… Some of us proceed to MOS to see wat we can bk in or bk out, while one of the spec, nicholas brought dalton’s understudy, raymond to take his camp pass…

Oh yar, heard tat raymond gt noise bleed yst after movin the assualt boat trailer… Its nt tat u are garang, u will haf rewards reap at NS one… and wif some health problems raymond haf, we advise him nt to overwork le…

I proceeded back to the office 1st… Dunno hw, after a game of sudoku, i fallen alsp… Wastin my whole afternoon in BSS lol…. Thou can used it on other better stuff and do more work, I juz fallen aslp… Haiz…

After roll call, my new boss spoke to all of us on MC… phew… guessed it doesnt affect me tat much coz I am nt the type who keeps on take MC one… So santos die le lol… See hw the new boss handle him bah…

Anywae, the 2 sergents of BSS will be tested on wat they knw tmr… Haha… Dunno hw they goin to handle him… the thing is after roll call, still had to listen to the new boss tok so much rubbish… Wah liew… 6 plus alreadi leh…

Back at home… Wah… so mani ymca e-mails… Woah… and sia lar… 3 outins / activities on tis sat… Wah… Looks like I gotta reject two… Yew Chong and Eileen’s de… Bo bian… I nt one of the leaders in their grp…

Furthermore, I haf promised to go for the leaders meetin for pauline’s readin programme le… So, can onli go for tat one lol… Haiz… But to be fair to eileen’s outin, I promised to go for her outin on 27th…

Oh yar, yew chong told me tat I cld be part of the logistic team for tis up comin y camp… Woo hoo, great news… Glad to hear tat… Nw I am goin to do watever I can to do more in this volunteerin work….

07 15 hrs: I reached Seletar Camp’s gate wif my duffer bag rollin… Its been one yr since I brought tat along wif me… Haiz… still cannt forget hw in the mornin, my parents quarreled wif me abt my operations…

07 33 hrs: On my wae towards CAC, I met grayson… Chatted wif him and told him tat I will be OOT (out of trainin) and abt my operations which will gif me a MC for 2 mths… Thou I realli wanted to help the guys for stocktake and LRI, so thot tat if they needed me, I will come back regardless of my MC… well, maybe needed some more discussion…

08 11 hrs: After waited and waited… The mini bus came… Goin wif me to recourse, there are 4 other guys… Hm… but strange… hw come 1 wearin CV???

09 20 hrs: The mini bus reached SAF ferry terminal… There, they started to check whether we haf brought all the necessari equipments…. When one of the sergents told me tat if I wld use money to buy the needed items… I juz sae tat I am goin to MO later to endorse my OOT letter…

10 30 hrs: All the bmt recourse personals boarded onto the ferry towards tekong…. All of us includin me added up to 4 sections…

11 20 hrs: We all reached BMTC sch 2… There we are all grp into hw much we haf completed our bmt… Wat I heard was no matter hw much u completed, the new rules state tat u will need to complete everythin…. The most sianz is tat when I heard of RT… remindial trainin… OMG…. Hw I hated tis word and never heard of it for such a long time liao… Haiz…

11 30 hrs: I tried to tell the clerk abt endorsin the letter for OOT… but the sergent major say after lunch… Bo bian lol… Anywae, I am in Orion compani… hm… sounds familiar… like ding cong’s ex compani leh…

12 00 hrs: After puttin my duffer bag in one of the rm, I proceed for my lunch… Wah… so long never march liao… Luckili gt my letter… heng arhx… So, i stand behind the file and wlak my wae to my lunch…

12 15 hrs: Lined up for a while and got my food… Hm… compared to the food I ate at 46 SAR and seletar camp… I did like the food here… Haiz… might as well carried the food frm here to seletar back wif me mah…

13 11 hrs: Go to my room… I am in section 2, bed 10… Wah… so long never heard of tis alreadi… tat time in 46 SAR is also section 2 de lol… After tat changed into admin… see, I knew had to brin one… Den went for hair cut…

14 30 hrs: Finished haircut… nt realli short or botak lar… Like moghort hairstyle… The thing i cannt stand in the barber is tat they haf one butch… wah liew… dunno is a man or a woman….

15 25 hrs: Went back to compani line…. Finalli the moment I had waited for… Go to Medical Centre…. and accompanied by one sergent…

15 50 hrs: Saw the MO (medical officer)… He quite nice lar… quite carin… After he read the letter written, he requested for another FFI…

16 20 hrs: Finished the blood test, eye sight…

16 30 hrs: MO saw my FFI after I waited for awhile and confirmed of me unfit for BMT recourse… There I was OOT again…

16 45 hrs: Dressed back into my smart 4, pack my duffer bag…. After the clerk finished some of my admin stuff and called up seletar camp… I was off to the ferry terminal…

17 00 hrs: Aboard the ferry and on my wae back to singapore main island… Called up my dad and grayson and co… Announced tat I am back to seletar camp tmr…

17 45 hrs: My dad fetched me back home as I waited opposite the SAF ferry terminal….

… So basicalli, tats my one dae visit to tekong… Kool… Nw I am readi to be back into business for my volunteerin work… Plus… yesh… my birthdae chalet will be on next mth… Invitations will be sent out tis sat… Nt forgettin my operations in 16 daes time….

A brand new fight for the strategist…
