Hw blurry my eyes was… Manz… Its those annoyin alarm clocks again… Haiz… I switched off my alarms and went back to slp… Todae, I realli felt extremli tired… Manz… I am juz goin to slp for a few more mins…
“Hm… Wats the time nw???” I opened my eyes to find tat its 7.50 am… OMG… Manz… Kan chiong… But nt realli late mah… So I slowli drag myself into the bathroom to tidy up myself… Haiz… Another dae started when I woke up…
Finishin dressin up… Alrighti, I am readi to go… Hm… I have 20 plus mins to reach YMCA !!! OMG… I thot I had my time rite… Sianz… Alrite, I will juz haf to take a cab to YMCA now… Feelins tells me tat I may nt make it in time… Haiz… Goin to waste another 10 dollars…
5 mins… No Taxi…
10 mins… No Taxi… Its drizzilin…
15 mins … No Taxi … Its pourin wif heavy rains… I am standin under a tree for shelter… Haha… Hw foolish I am nt to brin a umbrella…
20 mins… Still no taxi… I am realli goin to be late if there’s no taxi available for me leh… I was tellin the heaven tat why muz u keep on makin a joke out of me??? Anywae, its nt the 1st time, i told tat to the god… When has they even listen to me before???
A taxi driver waved to me at a instant… I immediately rushed towards the taxi… Chey… its all a misunderstandin… He thot I was the one who hired the cab… haiz… Had to leave the cab and continue wait under the tree…
A few mins later, the taxi uncle juz now drove infront of me and offered to drive me to YMCA… Heng arhx… or else, my hair is goin to be worse… Haiz… Its alreadi looks bad under the rain le…
Reached YMCA, I rushed to pauline’s office… Woah… her office are all packed wif RJC’s students and some church members, I tink… todae my role at the readin club is sort of a leader role, which I had nt experience before in my career at YMCA… haha…
I took the bus wif my grp towards SCAS… Hm… Throughout the journey, I was thinkin… Hw shld I approach this grp of mine??? Even hw much I had changed in ITE, Interact Club’s BODs still sae I had much to improve on… So, hw shld I realli approach the grp as a leader???
This qns was answered when I reached the place… To juz be like my normal self, and guide them when necessari… Haha… Guessed become a volunteer too long at YMCA makes me forgotten hw to become a leader when I was in CSC and Interact Club… haha…
The whole programme started realli fine… Anywae, the other 3 leaders, Huili, Sherbell and Yi wei came to the place on their own… Haiz… Didn’t knw, all else I need nt rushed to YMCA so earli le… coz SCAS is nearer to my hse…
The grp of mine were merged wif yi wei’s… so bth of us worked together… Haha… we bth shared a lot of ideas on hw to make the whole programme goes smoothli… Great… Hm… I haf to sae Yi Wei is a guy who realli can work well wif one lol…
All in all, the RJC’s grp has initiative and they juz do wifout bein needed to ask them to… So , I am quite pleased wif my grp’s performances… Thou, in the 1st place, I did nt realli expect much frm them, but they did a gd job todae…
Todae, I haf to sae there were a lot of interactions between the benficiaries and me… even thou, I am one of the leaders, but I still walked ard and tok to all the beneficiaries… Makes me realli like tis volunteerin job more and more…
After the beneficiaires returned home… I helped out pauline in packin up… Huili den gave me one box of ba chungs aka small dumplins… I was liked stunned… haha… Sia lar… Yi wei is nt ard, so I had to take the whole box… hahahaha…. Ai Yah, hw can u reject sth when someone like huili who is so nice givin u the thing…. bo bian one mah…
Returned back to YMCA… anywae, on the journey, we dropped huili near bedok reservior for her to go home easier…. After reachin the place, we put back all the stuffs at pauline’s table… oh yah… almost forgot the mini dumplins… haha… thanx god… the volunteers who helped me brought it up almost returned back to me, thankfulli, another volunteer took the whole box as her mum wans… phew…
After a small rests, pauline and me went for lunch… Hm… too bad, darren is sick, so he’s nt ard… yi liang gt guard duty… haiz…. ok lar… todaes lunch was saved, as pauline treated me… thanx arhx…
At lunch, bth of us tok abt feedbacks on todae’s outin… I also asked her abt the comin y camp’s venue… seems like its confirm to be back at SHINE’s outdoor again… haiz… Anywae, we bth also tok abt the last y camp, and I feedback to her abt some stuffs…. haha… Watever stuff I sae is juz hear say….
Back at home… I went to disturbed ah li lol… haha… She tink too much some times… Haha… She also gaf me a shock somtimes… Its abt Y proms… I was liked… huh??? wat she means… but she sae I will knw one… which I dun realli knw wat she meant… I was even surprised when she sae tat the y prom is planned by her side… Woah…
Anywae, I told her I wanted to make it up to those I did wrongs to… So nwadaes, i will be nice to the ppl ard me… Haha… tink too much??? Maybe… I am hopin to get my remose feelins leavin me…. Maybe, its a gd start for a change… haha….
